We Lived It First
GlowTrax began with a simple frustration. After installing “permanent” outdoor lights on our own homes and observing other DIY-ers’ installs, we realized it did not take long for them to look anything but permanent. Exposed wires. Sagging bulbs. Plastic mounts that faded or yellowed. A messy roofline after just one season.
Particularly in Minnesota, temperature swings intensified the issues. Cold winters mixed with warmer days caused lights to shift and droop, no matter how carefully they were installed.
There had to be a better way.
Then We Fixed It
What started as a custom solution for our own homes quickly caught the attention of neighbors, friends, and other homeowners who wanted their DIY lights to look clean and professional.
Today, GlowTrax helps homeowners install permanent lighting that looks professional and is actually permanent.
Meet the Team
Rich
CO-FOUNDER
Rich has spent over 25 years in the manufacturing industry, working primarily with aluminum and large OEMs. With deep experience in how materials perform in real world conditions, he brings a practical, detail driven approach to product design.
Rich and his co founder, Joe, have been friends since kindergarten and have collaborated on many projects over the years, including multiple patented solutions. He is driven by clean design, durability, and building products that hold up outside, not just on paper.
He lives in Minnesota with his wife, three daughters, and their golden retriever.

CO-FOUNDER
Joe has spent over 25 years working in packaging and research and development, designing equipment and improving manufacturing processes through smarter, more efficient solutions. He holds multiple patents related to product design and manufacturing.
With a hands on background that includes restoring classic cars and rehabilitating homes, Joe brings a builder’s mindset to every project, focusing on function, durability, and ease of installation.
He lives in Florida with his wife and two sons.
